Reset account grayed out on open source platform

I can’t seem to reset my paper or live account on the open source platform, though I’m certain I have before, so maybe this is from a recent update?

Hello! Thank you for reporting this issue. We have received your bug report regarding the ‘Reset account’ option being grayed out on the open-source platform. We are investigating this and will provide an update shortly.

They will be grayed out, if there are no exchanges in your account.
Do you have any?

Usually you can reset an account whether there is an exchange or not, that’s how I clear out the home page of stats, because even deleting and creating a new exchange account doesn’t clear out the stats on the home page otherwise.

However, I tried both with and without a paper account and it’s still grayed out on open source, but not on the subscription tier. And I know I’ve done it before, several times in fact, on open source in the past. Just to be certain, I created a new paper account under exchanges, and then went to settings and danger zone, and reset paper account is still grayed out, as is reset whole account.

After you added exchange, try to refresh the page and then go to the settings

I updated the balance for the exchange I added, and now I see the reset option. However, I had also shut down the Docker container before your reply and had to start it back up again too. One of the two probably did it. I swear I’ve reset that before without an exchange account present or after deleting one, but maybe something was cached when I had. LOL!

In the future I’ll make sure an exchange account is present, refresh the page, update the balance, etc.

These buttons has condition to disable themselves based on exchange presence. The only problem it could be cached until page refresh.

Yup, caching makes sense. Thanks!
