Bot not opening new simultaneous deals

Bug info: Bot running for about 300 days started not opening new simultaneous deals automatically. This bot has been running smoothly without any issues since I created it but now it stopped auto-opening new deals.

I’m reporting this because other users after passing the 250/300 deals have noticed the same issue and they had to start new deals manually and ended up recreating the bot

  • Bot URL → Gainium app
  • [Optional] Steps to reproduce →
  • Expected result → I’m using ASAP so once a deal closes the bot will start a new one almost immediately but recently the bot isn’t starting new deals automatically

Can you give more details.
As far as I can see, your bot has at least 1 active deal after deal closed. ASAP wont open more than 1 deal automatically on the same symbol, even if you have set 5 simultaneous deals. In your case also 5% deviation of last deal entry price not met.
After you closed long running active deal, ASAP works as expected. It opens new deal if bot has 0 active deals after deal closed.

it’s working as expected now but yesterday and the days before after closing a simultaneous deal the bot didn’t start a new one and I had to do it manually - let’s mark it as solved for now and if I notice it again before adding a manual deal I’ll take a screenshot and post a new bud report - thank you for the time spent looking into it brother really appreciate

Can you confirm that in those case when deal was closed, bot still have more than 1 active deal? If so, its not a bug its expected behaviour.

With 5 simultaneous long deals per pair and a 5% cross under dynamic price filter configured, it would require a 20% drawdown to get all activated, right?

With over and under it could even happen at almost the same level after crossing the lower level, closing the deal and reaching the upper filter, etc.

yes, but it was over the 5% set for the dynamic price filter so after the price passed that 5% the bot didn’t start a new deal. It means that if I had 3 simultaneous deals and the third closed I then expected, when the price moves down again by 5%, to open a new deal (third deal below the other two) - this didn’t happen
Hope it makes sense

The new simultaneous deal should have started after that 5% drop from the last opened deal - but it didn’t happen that’s why I thought it was a bug.

Also, other users pointed out the same issues or bot running for a longer time if that helps

Yes, it should work that way. Last active deal. In your case there was a deal from Jul, that was only one active and its price was 69k if I remember correct. Some time ago there was a problem that bot opened deals using values from last opened deal, even if it was already closed. Maybe it was your bot, I dont remember. Since that time I changed the logic to use values from latest active deals only.

Yes, correct

It could be some of the older deals then - thanks brother I’ll keep an eye and if I notice anything unusual I’ll let you know
