Combo Bot > Bot stuck to Notional Value

Hi Gainium Team,

Using Combo Bot on future, I discovered that whatever change I do and successfully save to the “Base Minigrid /Order size reference” setting, it is always back to Notional Value when I refresh the Bot.
If I try to setup the “Base Minigrid /Order size reference” to “Cost” and “Currency” to “% USDT Free” , then sucessfully save, then refresh the page : the Bot is always back to “Notional Value” whatever I do or whatever value/leverage I use.

Thanks in advance for looking into this,

Cédric

This bug seems to be existing only on Combo bot. Trying the same thing with a classic DCA trading bot, the behavior is different. On trading bot if you select “currency” = “%USDT Free” then the “Order Size Reference” switch disappear immediately.

Changes were recorded, but due to the server load issue it could have taken a while to take effect. Is the issue resolved?

Just checked with my ETH bot and the bug is still there. Even waiting multiple minutes after doing the change and coming back to the bot, it invariably displays “notional value” and refuse to switch to Cost.

I don’t think this is related to the server issue currently ongoing.

Hi Gainium Team,

This bug is not fixed and it is indeed a bug.

Can you please remove the “not-bug” tag from this post ?

Thanks

Notional value and cost its only for display purpose, it wont change the calculated order size.

Ah ok, but having the switch moving back to notional value when you save the bot on cost position is super confusing. The switch position should be persistant.
