I’d like to suggest a feature that could help traders deal with one of the biggest challenges of DCA bots—getting stuck in deals for long periods (weeks or even months). When a deal has multiple DCAs and the price doesn’t recover, one is forced to wait indefinitely, with funds tied up and no way to take profits along the way.
This feature, similar to “Equalizer” on other platforms, would allow users to activate an option that turns a stuck DCA deal into multiple simultaneous deals. Each DCA entry would be sold separately when it reaches a profit and then repurchased when the price drops. The bot would continuously recalculate the average cost and unrealized profit of the overall deal, progressively lowering the break-even point.
I understand that this would make the DCA bot resemble a Combo bot. However, this would be extremely helpful, especially since many users rely on the Plankton and Hunter DCA strategies. These strategies often result in multiple DCAs being added to a deal, and having a way to actively manage and optimize them would make a big difference. cc @Rossano
