In the latest update it was stated that there was a problem with extra safety orders and it was fixed.
But my deals still receives extra safety orders, see below screenshot.
While i have a maximum of 2 SO in the bot settings, some deals have 4 executed SO. This creates funding problems for my other deals, so i hope this bug gets fixed finally.
I think this one was already fixed but we had already deployed our daily update so it didn’t include this. Today it will.
Good day Ares. It is still happening today (19-12-2024) Gainium is eating my money by execute extra safety orders.
stop the bot and decrease the amount of DCA in the meantime
Does stopping the bot cause a open deal to stop taking actions?
If not, then adjusting the amount of DCA is of no use, if Gainium is executing DCA orders unnecessarily/erroneously.
If yes, then the question is whether in this case it still does, because according to the bot settings it should not open more than X number of DCA orders, and yet it happens occasionally.
yes in your case - then EDIT the settings directly in the deal
This basically detaches the deal from the master setting and bot
Ok I understand, but then you still don’t know if he is going to accidentally perform additional DCA actions again. Because that’s the big problem…
Hello,
The problem we fixed related to extra safety was different. This one was caused by the recent issue with server resources. Since order statutes were taking longer to be saved in the database, this one happened to get filled right before we applied the patches and restarted the bot service. Since the order status didn’t get saved after restart the bot placed a new one. I will mark it as solved for now.
