Deals not closing in Gainium but are on exchange

Bug info: this is happening routinely now. Deals appear not to close, but if I restart the bot then the deal close notification comes through on n Telegram. It’s a problem because new deals don’t start until the bot is restarted.

  • Bot URL → Gainium app
  • [Optional] Steps to reproduce → not sure but I’m on KuCoin
  • Expected result → deals should close in Gainium and trigger notifications when deals close on exchange

same thing happening to me as well. TP is % in a multipair long bot and none were closed at TP

Bot id: 67557d0a0134c0adc554645c

They seem to be TPed at exchange but then the new didn’t start. When I restarted the bot, deal appeared.

Thank you for reporting this issue. We will review it and get back to you as soon as possible.

Seems like I’m experiencing the same issue on Bybit, value on Gainium exeeds the 2% TP and no new deals start on exchange until bot restart. Unfortunally missing deals/profits this way

Have you restarted your bot? For me this shows that the deals actually completed on the exchange, but Gainium doesn’t know. So I didn’t miss any deals closing and didn’t lose profits.

Try restarting the bot and see if telegram notifications get fired off.

Also check on the exchange to see if the sell order filled.

Yeah the deals actually closed as they were already placed on the exchange. Only missing new deals, Bybit was not showing/opening any new deals. After restart the new deals popped up on the exchange.

This morning all the bots on Gainium seem to be correct again, maybe something is fixed already? Now al values are less than 2%

Hi @Fahri , any update on this issue? I’m still seeing it, but worryingly the old trick of restarting the bot to trigger the notifications hasn’t worked, so I’m not sure if my deal has closed or not

Ah, just got notification.

In which case I think site performance is slow at moment. Which makes sense because the website is pretty sluggish today.

I also have a lot of issues with slow performance of Gainium and almost every bot I have does face issues with Errors… it’s kind of annoying and I hope it will be solved fast.

Still seeing this happen on all my bots. I have to restart the bot regularly now to see old deals notify of completion and then open new deals. This is making ASAP not really work well.

Any progress?

Just checked your bot. All current updates are received by the bot. I have force reconnected kucoin connection.

Thanks but it seems to need it regularly. I restarted all 4 yesterday and today it had missed deal close notifications. Restarted all 4 and notifications came through of old closed deals.

Next time one gets in this state I’ll tag you so you can have a look

Yes, because update wasnt send to/received by the bot. Kucoin user streams more fragile as from my experience. We have a job that tracking kucoin performance.
Yesterday we released server fix around 19-20 UTC, not sure when did you do the restart, probably before.

The restart would have been before that yes. Ok lets see how it goes from now, but if it continues I think I might need to switch exchange. Thanks Maksym

Hi @maksym.shamko this deal on this bot should have closed

I’ve left the bot in that state, haven’t restarted. Note that I restarted all bots this morning.

If you think this isn’t fixable, and that KuCoin will always do this with Gainium, I’ll stop bots and close deals and move bankroll to another exchange.

Hey @maksym.shamko can you let me know when you’ve had a look because I’d like to restart the bot to trigger another deal. Thanks

You can close it. I’m not by the computer and will be soon. I will later check logs

Restarted now and the CRO deal notification triggered.

Just had this occur on Binance. Haven’t seen it for weeks on KuCoin

Restarted bot and the deal close notification arrived.
