"Short" deals on spot market

What about range-bound markets? We have bought our assets and are stuck in a deal with no hope of a quick recovery, but at least a stable 2% down and up sideways movement? In this case, our shares only lose a little. And with about 22 “short” spot trades, we can already win about 50% (here $2.5) of the order size extra.
