Why is this grid bot buying higher than it was selling a couple of hours earlier?

Does Gainium do it that way? Isn’t that more a DCA strategy even though he’s talking about grid trading? Doesn’t he only use evenly spaced and scaled safety orders which makes it look like a grid? And as the initial picture of he video luckily show, his way to do DCA doesn’t really help to bring the average price down. The required change to even break even stays quite big and accordingly the reversal has to be to close that “grid” deal.
Grid bots with direction long should never buy higher than they sell. Somewhere else I created a description of how I think grid and combo bots work.
