We have received your bug report regarding the bot closing your trade after it was stopped. Thank you for providing the bot URL. We will investigate this issue and provide you with an update shortly.
As I mentioned, I stopped the bot way before the close happened
Open deals will continue if you don’t cancel or close them when you stop the bot. Stopping the bot only prevents it from starting new deals. You will need to edit the deal if you don’t want it to take any further actions.
If I stop the bot it doesn’t only not opening new poistions, it closes all the limit orders around the open positions as well which is completely fine.
I think it shouldn’t close the deal because of the timer, because I stopped the bot which means nothing should have happened from the Gainium side.
Open deals are continued with the settings that they were started with whatever status the bot has.
In my opinion Gainium should change this logic. The reason why I stopped the bot, because I wanted to make manual changes and exits as well from that position. If I stop the bot, nothing should happen from Gainium side especially closes regarding any open positions.
No, that’s not the correct logic. The bot only starts deals. Deals then run on their own. You have to edit the deals if you want to change details about how they are executed.
I see. Thank you for all the information
