My personal thoughts about “short” on spot market (which already let to many discussions) There are no gains from the “short” on spot itself. You have to buy and hold all currencies that you want to “short” trade. But by holding the currencies you participate from uptrends (and downtrends). Only those movements change your portfolio size.
