Hi. I joined KuCoin recently as it is the only exchange supported that still allows futures/perp trading from NZ. I’m keen on hedged mode and noticed it is selectable in Gainium for KuCoin. But, as far as I can tell, KuCoin does not support hedged trading (i.e., simultaneous long and short positions within an account (or subaccount)). Can anyone who uses KuCoin provide some additional information on this? It would be greatly appreciated.
Manual hedging via spot?
How do you know hedge is not supported?

As for now, KuCoin Futures does not support Hedge Mode yet, and it’s not allowed to open Long and Short positions on the same trading pair at the same time. Therefore, if you hold a long position, and the reverse order is traded at this time, the position will be reduced.
For example, if you buy 2 lots with 2x leverage under a BTC contract and sell 2 lots on the same contract, then the quantity of positions will become 0. We have plans to add this feature in the near future, so please stay tuned for further updates.

We still didn’t have further info on this. Rest assured that once an update is available we will inform everyone of the new feature
