Leverage's not correctly applied to Bybit

Hello,

The leverage has been configured as x5 in Gainium; but the bot is opening Long x1 position in Bybit.

  1. Should I set the leverage manually through Bybit, before running a bot?
  2. The exchange has Hedge mode on and I was also running x1 short bot beforehand. Is this behavior because of this?

Thank you for reporting this issue. We have received your report regarding the leverage discrepancy with Bybit and will investigate it shortly.

To help us understand the problem better, could you please provide the Bot URL?

Regarding your questions:

  1. The leverage should be applied automatically from Gainium. You shouldn’t need to set it manually in Bybit.
  2. The Hedge mode and previously running short bot could be contributing factors. We’ll look into how these might be interacting.

Were any trades still running at leverage 1x?

Yes. a few short positions (but different pairs) were open with x1 leverage.

Hi there,

The bot sets the leverage at the start of its operation. It looks like you have three bots running with different leverage settings: x1, x3, and x5. The most recently started bot seems to have been set at x1 leverage.
