With 3commas, you have the option to specify how many active deals there can be for each linked exchange.
Is this possible to build into Gainium?
This is because I now have a long and short bot active on 1 linked exchange, and it would be nice that they don’t accidentally try to start/have a deal active at the same time.
You could also achieve that by using sub-accounts even though that would require more effort to set it up.
The advantage of my current setup is that I have more funds available. If I divide it over 2 sub accounts, I use less funds and thus less profit.
Can you not set max simultaneous deal and max number of DCA?
I do not understand how that is applicable over 2 bots?
You make a subaccount and into the subaccount have only those 2 bots. Am I misunderstood? The rest can be managed by number of DCA and max deals
But the max open deals is only applicable to 1 bot, it doesn’t affect any other bot, right? Or am I misunderstanding you?
You will have to calculate it manually - if you have 2 bots with 4 DCA each and 2 max deals per bot then you have a max of 20 orders
I suspect that we each mean something different, or I am totally misinterpreting you?
To my understanding, in 1 bot you can’t prevent another bot from opening a deal, right?
And both my bots do not use DCA.
Yes, it requires a global instance that knows about all bots and can control the total amount of deals per pair if needed. Each bot can only control his own deals. Even if we want only 4 deals per pair and configure two bots to allow 2 deals per pair, we might end in a situation where one bot could open 4 deals but is only allowed to open 2 while the other bot doesn’t open a deal at all.
