Long and short bots, dont match margin used

Hi guys, i was messing around with some bot settings because i wanted to change my bias on one side of my hedging bot, when i noticed that the short side it taking alot more margin than what i’m telling it to do. Is this intended and if so, how do i know what the multiplier is? It seems to be different on other every other asset

Bug details:

  • Bot URL → Gainium app
  • Expected result → same amount of margin to be used

We have received your bug report regarding the margin usage in your long and short bots not matching. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention and will update you shortly on this matter. We see you provided the bot URL, which is helpful. Thank you for your patience as we investigate.

You have volumes scale 1.1 for 20 dca orders.

The issue is the starting capital used in the base grid. Despite setting it to exactly the same amount in long and short. The short would sell 6sol and the long would buy 4sol

You have a 25% drop in the base minigrid. Bot recaculated base order to grid order at -25% to fit exchange minimum requirements (100 usdc)
5.5 Sol at current rate is more than 100 usdc, but when bot will try to place grid order at -25% from base order price, it will catch error related to order size minimum
