Yesterday, DeepSeek finally shocked American Big Tech with its AI, which seems to be as good as o1 from OpenAI, but much cheaper to build than o1 and also much cheaper to use for end users. And the model can even be hosted on your own server for free. Maybe DeepSeek could also lower AI costs for Gainium?

I tried it yesterday for the first time and was fairly impressed with it. And they’re giving access to the API.
One issue, though. Their service is often unavailable due to high demand.
Yes, I was asking it questions that I was asking other AIs before. And while previous AIs often failed or made mistakes most answers were quite excellent now. I fully understand that there’s a high demand because of that. But since it can be setup on one’s own servers could help to decrease the load, if e.g. only Gainium users can access it.
