Number of DCA changed alone

Bug info:
Hello!
I’m trying a long and multicoin version of the hunter strategy but at some point the bot is not opening more deals with 33 DCA but only with 19 DCA as you can see in the image below. There are still some deals with 33 DCA because the deals haven’t close since this change arrived. I haven’t changed the DCA settings as you can see also in the bot URL.

I am bit confused, you’re saying that bot is not opening more deals with 33 orders. But in fact, all the 33 onces are created since today morning, and the 19 ones are from yesterday…

Yes in fact is creating orders with 33 DCA now, but I never put19 DCA in the bot.

The reason the bot is not opening more deals with 33 DCAs and is instead capping at 19 DCAs is that using more than 19 DCAs can lead to a negative price for some pairs. This behavior is intentional to prevent potential issues with pricing calculations and ensure the bot operates within safe parameters.

Could you explain it in more detail. Except of missing funds or minimum order sizes, why shouldn’t configured safety orders not be executed. That’s not reliable.

I don’t really understand this answer neither. When I configured the bot, it was supposed to go -92% on the last DCA, how could it be possible to go to a negative price? And why 19 DCA are ok to not go to this negative price but 20 are not for example?

And also the bot came back to normal alone, it really seems like a bug for me, I will be looking closely if I see this happenning again. I consider that the bug is still there for me…

Especially because there are those deals.

Same pair, started almost at the same time, different amount of safety orders.

Example orders for deal contains 20 order: BO + 19 DCA

because more than 19 DCA will cause price to be negative

Bot has progressive order step. you can see last and second to last diff is around 0.8, next will be more because of step scale, and obviously it will be lower than 0

Thanks. Indeed long safety orders can leave the possible range. But why does the same pair opens with only 19 in one deal but in another deal with 33 safety orders?
