For the past few days, occasionally a bot will open only a partial order- I imagine it’s because the whole limit order is not taken before the coin moves. When I’m looking at the exchange now, it shows a single limit order only partially filled. Is there something wrong with the limit order repositioning?
There is nothing wrong, that is how it works. If an order is partially filled, we cannot reposition the rest of the limit order. The only solution is to cancel the partially filled order or wait for it to be completely filled.
That’s too bad- it would be better if it chased. It leaves the bot in a broken state.
