Thank you for reporting this issue. We have received your bug report regarding the Required change not working and will update you shortly. We have noted the bot URL you provided: https://app.gainium.io/bot/new?load=68a86bdec45cf30fd14313b7&share=null&backtest=run.
The link doesn’t work. What exactly did you configure, and what did you expect?
By the way, do you remember that I reported ages ago about various shortcomings in the current implementation? The reactions weren’t that pleasant, right. And not every resulting not-bug and fixed-bug is already a fixed-bug. And some even were only accepted as Feature Requests instead of as Bug Reports.
But maybe the time has come to cope with the shortcomings now. Let’s hope for the best.
Required change is not TP.
TP is set to 5%. All deals closed within 5%. And TP moved to 5% after DCA filled.
Was this one of the edge cases where Required Change to Take Profit was configured to a value 2% that was smaller than the Take Profit of 5%? Of course, this isn’t a valid configuration and the user should therefore be warned at least if not even prevented from configuring something like that. I am also certain that I have described this and other edge case in the past. Check out my “Feature Requests” for that.
Yep I have deleted the post after a few seconds of posting, but for some reason it did not disappear, and it’s still here - never mind
The way I expected to work is different, but I found a workaround
