Short Bot with static min price filter doesnt start eventhough price is already in range

Bug info:
This is a simple DCA short bot that will only start selling if price is above $99.
The bot correctly stops selling when price dumps below the filter, but doesnt sell when it bounces back above it.

Note that this is not the first time this happened. Few days ago when this happened (min price filter not triggered), I thought it had something to do with resource usage that was still plaguing the whole system, but just now it happened again.

This weekend market dumped, including LTC, then bounced back to above $99 or even slightly above $100, but the bot didnt sell, I already ensured the bot is always ON (standing by).

I have tried two things to trigger it manually :

  1. Edit and change the min price (ie. $99.1 or $98.9) and therefore force the bot to “wake up”
  2. Restart the bot manually

Exchange : ByBit

  • Bot URL → Gainium app

  • [Optional] Steps to reproduce →

  • Expected result → bot starts selling automatically when price bounces back to above $99.

  • Related deal id : 6767b9c2914308c4a2808bea this is the example deal that only started instantly after I restarted the bot manually (looking at the candle it shouldve started an hour ago)

it happened again. the previous deal has closed
and now the price is within range again… but no deal is fired

Thanks for the report! It has been fixed. Let me know if it’s ok now.

So its working now and I’ll keep an eye on it.
