Simple trade acting crazy

Trading terminal - Deal Type: Simple - Coin Pair FSUSDUSDT
Exchange: Binance Spot

I have 500 USDT and want to exchange everything to FDUSD.

I select Buy
(this is already confusing as the button say “BUY 500 USDT” while I will buy FDUSD)

At Total I type 500 USDT, as I want to use all USDT.

Now the Amount is calculated, but Total is changing every few seconds, no matter if I choose Limit or Market.

So quick quick quick. type 500 and place order before the price will change… and guess what… I have USDT left. sighed

Please make that the number you type will be the “stable” part in entering the trade.

Thanks in advance, Maurice

Hello Maurice,

Thank you for reporting this issue. We have received your feedback regarding the ‘Simple trade’ acting unexpectedly within the trading terminal, especially with the USDT/FDUSD pair on Binance Spot. We understand the confusion you experienced with the buy button labeling and the fluctuating ‘Total’ field. We’ll investigate this behavior and will update you shortly.

Thanks,
Amia

It show you how much you can use USDT for buy (in the screenshot 10k) and how much FDUSD you can use for sell (in the screenshot 0)

You can see little lock. The one which is not locked will be changed with every ticker price change. Total is quote asset, amount is base asset. So if you want to lock total (use all 500 USDT for the order), you should type 500 in total field

It depends on the pair fee, base size step etc, its possible that dust will be left after order.
