The trading bot didn't update balances

Bug info: No update of balances was done between 11:53-12:06 so the bot didn’t sell (and buy) the right amount. Everything worked fine before and after.

  • Bot URL → Gainium app
  • Expected result ->99% of the free balance should have been sold (and rebought ASAP) but the wrong amount was sold.

Hi, I’m confirming partly this issue as I have to open 2x new grid bot and had to buy some base and both had trouble.

Steps :

  • get inside a train…
  • buy using terminal (simple and market)
  • go back to grid bot for first start, pop-up is now showing new balance

My first was with LINK and it fixed itself after few minutes and page reload.

Second was XRP and after 5+ minutes, still not OK. I ended up fixing it by going to exchange page and click update balance.

I think at first, I waited for order to be proceeded while executing order in terminal, but for second I might left that terminal page too early. I checked my bybit account and order was OK and balance too but while starting bot, gainium didn’t update the balance. Fixed with exchange and click update balance.

Maybe another check balance should be added somewhere to avoid that. Maybe bybit was a bit slower than usual today.

In my case, the bot was running unattended and did good for a couple of deals but suddenly missed updating the balance, and then did good again.

We changed the logic for balance refresh, the problem should be fixed. Keep an eye on it.
