Urma Lite - Simple low cost DCA always-on bot

Hi Brandon,

have now also a TTP subscription, will need to find some time to play around with it, pair-selection is also what I want to try.
How satisfied are you with this?

If I find enough time I will post a small howto for the ORC signals.

PS Urma-Gurd, sorry for hijacking this thread

We have a few users with TTP’s pair selection. They’re quite happy with the results.

TTP? The trading parrot? I watch his videos for guide on market but have never subscribed.

I find most of these subscriptions (including TradingView, IntoTheCryptoverse, LunarCrush etc) way too expensive for my bots/trading to be worth it.

I’m making a couple hundred $ a month on bots… I’m low risk small fry

Hi there, sorry for late reply.

I have a bunch of pair selection experiments going on right now using URMA as well as some other strategies.

I love pair selection!!! Its a game changer.

Pair selection?

Thanks for the idea. Can you share fresh link ?

Yes, as we were talking about with TTP.

If you want to make better gains, you need better tools. It’s worth spending the money on tools and subscriptions if you use them

Ok I’m confused. Are we talking Trailing Take Profit, or The Trading Parrot? If the latter, what game changing tool are you talking about?

Oh , hahah.Sorry. The Trading Parrot

Pair Selection is what we are talking about.

Not sure if this is public or not, but here is a reference - BAQL Version 1.4.0 | ttp-baql-reference

Sorry if this is a gated site, I can’t remember.

I have tried all these tools, even TTP, even their indicators, a lot of them, I’m not saying it’s not worth it, but for me, in my trading style, I prefer hands on the wheel , the only subscription I pay for is with gainium, the rest I do scalping, with the ATAS platform, coinank, Exocharts, tradinglite, trading differend and bookmap, that’s why I like gainium so much, I don’t worry about indicators, I just choose a strategy, the rest of my time I spend with the tools I mentioned, and learn how order flow works, but that’s my opinion.

Hi Brandon,

just being curious, what BAQL Sentence are you using, and why?
Started using it ( BAQL:PS:ALL_7_BUS_(LCAR≤327)), but market is a bit slow ATM.

A good/better pair selection could make a real difference in times where not all coins are pumping, just a few newcomers, which might quite risky.

Also an additional starting condition is recommend to not buy the Top of a pumping new coin chosen freshly by the pair selection service.

Would you mind taking other strategies to another thread. This was meant to be about Urma bot settings. Thanks

Sorry for that, I’ll start a new thread for this later.
The thing is that it fits really well with your bot, cause it catches a huge draw down.
Thanks for sharing with us!

Hi Urma-Gurd,

I used to use your strategies on 3commas back when I was following the TradeAlts videos and learning about DCA bots.

Nice to see you joining this community!

Happy 2025!

Thanks. Been slow and most deals were stuck for few weeks, but that’s fairly typical for Urma. It’s the trade off for such a low cost bot per deal. I’ve increased TP on all the heavily dipped deals to maximise the profit.

The slow few weeks shows we’re not in the alt coin bull run yet. BTC still king

Still running $2125 bankroll, so averaging 0.2% ROI per day since I started with Gainium. I guess it’s something!

Did this bot has Mini Bot for fill the Gaps? maybe it has different setup for cover URMA Main bot

Bro why you name it Urma, this standard DCA settings are everywhere on the internet. And with all backtests this strategy can only make you 0.15% to 0.2% per day in a long run. The worst part about this strategy is holding bags for long run and having drawdown of more than 50% if bot enters into Crypto winter. It is a long term strategy.

That’s cool

Just wonder how you handle it when the bot really goes down, let’s say 50 %?

Do you just leave it and wait (possibly for months) or do you exit before hitting bottom?
